With a new address for the 43rd time, Katie knew it was time to share her moving expertise. Each move presented new learning experiences and several challenges, resulting in an invaluable comprehensive checklist for purchasing a new home, navigating the selling process and dealing with all aspects of leasing. Katie is excited to share her wealth knowledge with her clients! Born in Norway, Katie has lived in and visited numerous countries all around the world having the incredible opportunity to embrace diverse cultures and new traditions. However, Austin has always felt like home and she has returned time and again, each time living in a different area of Austin, since her initial move to attend college. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Texas and a Business certification from UT's prestigious McCombs Business School, Katie’s career in political advocacy and the legal field fine-tuned her already meticulous attention to detail and negotiation skills which serve as the cornerstone for taking a stand and ensuring her clients' unique needs and aspirations are met, while also guaranteeing that real estate agreements are crafted with their best interests in mind. Katie has two teenage sons and an English Cocker Spaniel named Maverick. When she's not cheering on and supporting her sons in their many activities and sports, she enjoys quality family time, exploring the outdoors, furniture renovation, decorating, card and board games, traveling and attending airshows.
